COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This training will supply you with the information you will need to understand ergonomic risk factors, the types of illnesses and injuries that can occur, how to identify the risk factors present in your workplace, and how to prevent ergonomic illnesses and injuries. We will also discuss techniques for preventing or minimizing the risk and the importance of early detection and reporting the signs and symptoms of ergonomic risks. Ergonomics is the science of arranging and adjusting the work environment to fit the worker’s body. It is recognized as one of the most important factors impacting illness and injury rates in the workplace today.
