At eSafety, we’re so proud to announce that our very own chief technology officer, Kevin Galbavi, has been named the 2017 Chamber Spirit of Community Award Recipient. This award is presented to individuals who devote their own personal time and effort to improve the quality of life of other community members, as well as demonstrate incredible leadership and initiative qualities in the development of volunteer projects. Kevin received the award earlier this month at the annual Chamber of Commerce Grand Haven-Spring Lake-Ferrysburg dinner meeting for his volunteer management of the Grand Haven Winterfest.

Kevin took over the Grand Haven Winterfest back in 2002, when the festival’s future was uncertain. Now, 15 years later, Kevin’s careful management and organization have brought this wonderful winter celebration back to life, and his continued efforts work to keep expanding the festival’s reach. His careful planning, his unique ideas, his passion for the community, and his creativity have made Winterfest what it is today––a four day long winter festival that’s the talk of the Lakeshore. Kevin continues to uphold the Winterfest motto of providing “winter fun for everyone” to the greater community.

Kevin’s community involvement doesn’t end at Winterfest either. In addition to planning and organizing that massive event each year, he’s also a member of the Save the Catwalk Committee, Grand Haven Rotary, and the Spring Lake Yacht Club.

eSafety is so proud to have wonderful, community-minded individuals like Kevin a part of our team, and we’d like to publicly congratulate Kevin on such a meaningful achievement. Read more about Kevin’s award in the article put together by the Grand Haven Tribune.
