This course has been developed to increase your understanding of the need to control the potential negative effects of stormwater runoff and assist in your development of an effective control plan. We will review information based on the 1972 Federal Clean Water Act and discuss some of the state and local municipality specific regulations. This includes the applicable regulations regarding this subject from a historical perspective, the potential problems and negative effects of stormwater runoff, and stormwater pollution prevention methods.
